I grew up in Edwardsville and went through the Edwardsville school district. I attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIUE), where I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I have previously taught preschool, fourth grade, fifth grade, and this will be my 11th year teaching first grade.  I have enjoyed teaching students at all different levels.  However, first grade has been especially meaningful to me due to the high excitement of the students and their immense growth I get to experience year to year. I am very excited to be a Hamel Husky!
